Located in West St. Louis County, is a leader in patient care, medical education and research. As one of the nation’s largest Catholic hospitals and the second largest private hospital in Metropolitan St. Louis, Mercy Medical Center operates St. Louis County’s only Level I Trauma Center and Level III Neonattal Intensive Care Unit, both designed to handle the most complex and critical cases.Licensed for 979 beds, including 120 skilled nursing beds, Mercy’s serves as the community hospital for patients with a variety of conditions and health needs. As the area’s leading provider of obstetric and newborn services, Mercy’s delivers more than 6,000 babies each year-about one of every four babies born in the greater St. Louis area. The Medical Center is building a new Cancer Center of Excellence and is planning a new Heart Center. In addition, it operates the only specialized Burn Center in the region. As a teaching and research hospital, Mercy Medical Center utilizes innovative technology and draws health care professionals from across the nation who practice in nearly every clinical specialty. The Medical Center handles a major share of the area’s trauma cases and provides medical direction for six fire/ambulance districts comprising most of West St. Louis County. The Medical Center pioneered and continues to provide paramedic training for many of the paramedics who serve St. Louis County. Mercy’s Medical Center is a member of Mercy Health Care, a part of the Sisters of Mercy Health System.

Is a 489-bed acute care hospital located at 3015 N. Ballas Road near the intersection of Highways I-270 and I-64 (Highway 40) in west St. Louis County. It has been a member of BJC HealthCare since 1994.Missouri Baptist Medical Center offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, specializing in heart services, cancer services, orthopedics and women’s health services, as well as comprehensive 24-hour-a-day emergency services and pediatric services.

Physicians at Missouri Baptist Medical Center regularly provide clinical services to communities with few medical specialists. This outreach activity is part of the hospital’s commitment to quality patient care throughout the region.

The Missouri Baptist Medical Center campus is home to the Missouri Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Center, Missouri Baptist Cancer Center, the Breast HealthCare Center, the Digestive Disease Center and the Clinical Nursing Institute. The West County Sports Fitness & Rehabilitation Center, which is located at 11628 Old Ballas Road, is a department of Missouri Baptist Medical Center and is where the hospital’s outpatient rehabilitation services are performed.
