What Our Members Say About Us
“I love being involved in 1st Friday Coffees because it is setup for intentional networking. It is much more comfortable to walk up to someone and start a conversation about business when we all have the same expectation. It is comforting to meet other small business owners that share the same successes and worries as I do with my business. I enjoy the ribbon cuttings so I can hear and see about the new business that is opening close to where I work, live, eat and shop. It’s nice to put a person’s face with the business that is opening. A lot of times it is a local family or husband/wife team starting a new venture and the experience brings life to what would otherwise just be a new storefront. In only 18 months, I have received many praises and referrals from dozens of chamber members. I have done work for several businesses like Ballwin Tree & Brothers that just do Gutters. I have gotten referrals from both these companies because people see their vehicle decals and ask who did the work. I also got work from their office neighbors. I also USED both these companies to trim trees and fix gutters at my house. I put up yard signs to showcase their work and my neighbors have used them both for work! It’s really cool how the work spreads around full circle. I believe any business or organization is successful from the top down. I have been in other networking groups, but I think WSLCC operates the best because of Lori and Heather. For me, WSLCC is the best investment of time and money and has the most like-minded members.“
